I tried to live for the Lord and the Devil at the same time. I was straddling the fence, so to speak. It doesn’t work. I thought, “I can’t live it.”
The next thing I remember was a knock on my windshield and blue lights when I woke up in my rear view mirror.
When a child grows up thinking abuse is what love from a parent looks like, you don’t know it’s so horrifically wrong until someone else tells you.

They were told I was really small, that I had a heart condition, and that my growth had been so impaired I looked like a two year old. There answer was, “We think God wants us to take him.”

In attempt to find out how to best answer the girls we started reading the Bible together, and listening to Christian radio. We didn’t attend church for a while. Christian radio was our church.
When God spoke to me I left my career to be a stay-at-home mom. I left all the glitz and glamour and all the supposedly wonderful things. I started completely over, but with God in my heart this time.
I had a big head and a big attitude to go along with it. I had the house, cars, the boat; the middle class dream. All of a sudden I started making some real bad choices.
